When did your baby start doing these milestones?

When did your baby sit by themself (unsupported)/crawl/say their first word/stand/walk? I just want to know the milestones with each child. My son is 7 months old today and can't do anything, even sit by himself yet.

  • My daughter didn't fully sit unassisted until almost 8 months. She started crawling a couple weeks after that. Standing was about 8-81/2 months. First word....probably around 7/8 months she said dada. She's only 10 months now, so no walking yet, but she's kind of figuring out the whole using the couch to walk thing. Only a few steps though.

  • Sat by herself: About 5 or 6 months
    Crawled: About 8 months
    First word: About 8 months
Stood holding onto something: 6 or 7 months
Stood alone, unsupported: 8 or 9 months
Walked: She hasn't yet, by herself. She's 11.5 months.

  • sit by herself: 6 months.
    crawl: 6 months
say their first word: She said "hi" at 8 months and at 11 she says "all done" and "not all done" at the appropriate times. But not always. She also stopped saying hi when she learned to wave at 10 months.
stand: by herself? 11 months and not consistently. She's been standing and hanging on things since she was 7-8 months old.
    walk: not yet by herself.

  • My daughter turned 6 months last saturday and has been sitting for a month and half. She started scooting a month ago and is now full blown crawling and can even go from laying to a sitting position without any assistance. No words yet.

  • Crawling is not a milestone and many babies never crawl.

  • Every baby is different you cant compare your childs milestones to others. Reality is that as long as he is healthy and responding then you really have nothing to worry about. I know its hard cuz you see and hear of other ppls babies doing all these things but I had to really come to the reality that your child isnt everyone else.

Tj started crawling at 6 months
he sat on his own unassited at about 4-5 months.
as far as standing he walked along thing around 7-8 months and independently 9 months. buty he started walking by 10months
