I want to stuff pita bread with warm chicken but I would like to hear any idea's what to stick in them.

  • mmmm, pita bread! :) My mother in law stuffs them with sausage and fried potatoes which is all i put in mine but she also makes some with onions and pepers with the sausage and potatoes, and than we use mustard in with it as well, very very good!

  • You could stuff them with pizza toppings, or tuna salad ( i love grilled tuna sandwiches)

    lunch meat and other sandwich toppings

  • Both moms have some great ideas, but I like steamed or grilled red and green peppers and maybe a little onion with this. Thanks for the great dinner suggestion!!

  • I could talk about food all day! How about chicken, alfredo sauce or something similar, spinach, artichoke and sun dried tomatoe?

  • We actually do Fajita pitas. We don't open them up, just use the pita like a tortilla and put the fajita meat, peppers and onions on it with sourcream or whatever else you like. You could do the same thing and stuff them though. So good!

  • Chicken breast chunks cooked with Greek seasoning, garlic and lemon, then top with lettuce, tomato, feta cheese and cucumber sauce (tzatziki)
