When and how should I have the baby sleep in the same room as her sister?

I have two girls (4 months and 2.5 years old). The baby has been sleeping in the living room because I didn't want the girls waking each other up. Now that she's sleeping through the night I want my living room back. :) Should I just put them to bed at the same time some night and give them a few days to get used to it? Should I start at nap time? Should I wait until the baby has more of a nap schedule to start daytime room sharing and just put her in the bedroom at night?

  • Since they both all sleep through the night, you surely can just let them sleep in the same room now. They will acutally get used to each other in the same room sooner than you thought. There is no offical time limit or schedule for this anyway.
