Is there anyone who ISN'T depressed?

so many people are depressed on depression meds or have anxiety, is there anyone out there that just works through bouts of depression. Everyone gets depressed but people usually snap out of it, what do you do to help yourself?

  • My family has a history of depression so I work hard at not having depression. I go to the gym or take long walks regularly. When my mother died, I went to the gym twice a day to keep from sitting on the couch. Also, staying away from tobacco and alcohol keeps the blues away. Diet is a factor also. Avoid fast foods. Cook from scratch and use lots of fruits and veggies rather than sweets.

  • Im not....I could probably be diagnosed as such but I dont bother. I just take things a day at a time.
However, my DH is diagnosed and on meds for depression/anxiety disorder.
