screaming 5 month old

Has anyone had a baby that was a really really good sleeper up until a certain age? My dd is 5 months and this week, she's been waking up screaming. And there's no calming her. Anyone else find a cause as to why a baby does this? Willing to try anything...She has a loud piercing scream and it wakes the whole house up.

  • My son was a good sleeper until he was 3 months and didn't sleep well again until he was 11 months.
At 5 months she might be teething... you could try some teething tablets before bed and see if it helps her sleep... or some Tylenol
And if she has recently started baby foods they might be upsetting her tummy or making her gassy
They also start having some seperation anxiety at this age so she might be waking up and crying because she can't find you..
there are so many things that it could be!
