Christians, can you recommend a good book to help a teenager understand the bible?

  • The Bible for Dummies is a good one. It talks in terms that are very basic and walks through things that may be a little difficult to grasp.

  • Make sure she has a version of the bible that is easy to understand. I recommend the NIV or the HCSV, which is a newer one called the Holman Christian Standard....I worked at a Christian book store for a while, and was raised in church and always had difficulties reading and understanding, and these are my two recommendations! Then maybe a devotional for her age group, this is where she will learn better!
