  • yes, most years the flu shot is only the worst 6 or 7 variateys out there. I would say from personal experiance, he is going to be immune to about 75% of what classmates have.

  • yes. and even if he does not get the flu (which would make him very lucky because flu shots dont have a very high success rate) someone else in the house can still get it.

  • Yes he can bring it home to the rest of the family, and he can get the flu even after getting the vaccine. Best defense, wash hands and wash them often. If you are sick and have a fever, stay home.

  • Yes and he can still get the flu. The flu shot doesn't stop the flu from happening, it lessens the severity of the flu...just like any vaccine. NOTHING is 100% fullproof.

  • Yup. He can still get the flu after having the shot... and even if he doesn't catch the flu, he'll still be bringing the germs home on his hands & clothes.

  • Yes and he can still get the flu too it doesn't cover every straind of the flu... and if you want the swine flu shot thats something completely different. Both flu shots are given in 2 doeses so you would have to get 4 shots and every then he could end up getting one of the flu's it doesn't protect against.
