If you burn your pots and pans do you scrub them to get the burn off or do you even care?

  • Actually a friend of mine taught me a little trick when that happens....

    Put a little water in the bottom of the pan with a little dish soap......
    Then boil it.....
    Once comes right off :) Works like a charm....

  • I just tell my MIL i need new pots, lol. she is always calling and asking what we need and stuff she has empty nest syndrome.

  • I try not to burn them but if some butter or oil gets on the edges, then yes I clean it...Im OCD about stuff like that.

  • I can't afford to buy new stuff when things burn so yeah I clean them

  • Yes, I clean them. If they are really bad, I will scour them with the Brillo pad dealies. Can't afford new pans every time I burn something, although when I set fire to the oven that HAD to be replaced. Come to think of it, cooking lessons may have been less expensive. : ) Mostly

  • I scrub them. I am not lucky enough to be able to buy thing when ever I want. But I have also been lucky not to burn anything yet, lol

  • I put some water in them and let it boil for a few minutes and them it seems to come out easier

  • i have almost all non stick,but all my others are princess house and IAM NOT! going to get rid of them,what i usually do if i even think its kinda burnt i usually pour water when its still hot and i put some dawn and just wait and then let it sit then use my brush and it comes right off,so yes i will scrub if i have to.
