Okay i'm sure many of you know about the cap and trade bill that is supposed to go to congress later on in the month. if you don't you can check it out at www.ourenergyvoice.com. from what i understand of it (my husband is a coal miner) is that they are going to make businesses pay for extra polution credits, mostly to try to drive the coal industry into the ground to start with there nuclear power plans and wind power plants, Around my area wind power wouldn't work, and there would have to be 10 nuclear power plants for one coal powered power plant, this bills if passed will destroy the coal industry completely and make jobs more scarce killing off more jobs than what new ones they promise. Oh yeah and if it passes no matter what that means your electric bill will double! If the coal mines are able to pay for there polution points, they will charge you more! cont...

Wyoming also has lots of wide open spaces on some plains that can accommodate wind energy, which sadly doesn't really amount to much of your energy supply (really, you should do a little research).
Unfortunately, our elected officials don't really want nuclear energy, although it would be the best thing for us. See, it's not good enough for us, but our government doesn't have a problem with supplying other countries with plutonium to have nuclear energy, you know, as long as they promise not to develop it into weaponry. I am sure we can trust them, don't you think?
