  • No! Drugs are drug leads to another. Its bad enough that some children grow up in homes where parent's smoke pot, let alone to smoke with them. Rather its occasional or not, it is a habit. It will lead to further problems. Like holding down a steady job which is impossible if you have to be drug tested. I never understood the need for it, other then addiction. Think about the consequences if the child needs to go onto harder drugs. Don't kid yourself and think the risk are not there. Sometimes your addicts start with drinking and pot.

  • When i turned 18 my moms b-day present to me was to smoke a bowl with her. I quit smoking when i was 20yrs old (when i became a mom to my DH's son) ...but ...damn. now that she is dead i'd give anything to smoke another bowl with her, ...and i almost wish i hadn't quit just so that i could have had that extra time with her. ...I'm 22. She died 5 months ago 4 days before my b-day.

because it might not be the truth. smoking pot doesn't immediately make them an looser. There are lots and lots of professionals and very successful people who smoke pot.
And bagging on their dad like that isn't showing them that you are any better then he is.
