large amounts of sodium are never good for your body. Salt causes your body to retain water and that wont help you loose weight. Try excercising like walking allot it dosnt have to be free weights or running or sit up's. Just getting out and walking everyday for a half hour is enough to help you loose weight. A;lso, cut the junk out of your diet. Dont eat anything at least 3 hours before bed either.
