What is a good but free photo storage program besides flickr?

I love the way flickr makes your photo stay looking sharp and crisp on uploads, but there is a 200 pic limit unless you pay so much a year! So is there any programs for free that don't put a limit on the amount of pics that it will allow you to store, and yet look great on uploads?

  • Google made Picasa. I like that one and it is free.

  • Make a new email address and sign up for another Flikr account. That way you can keep using the site you like.

Picasa is really good. My FIL swears by it.

I use photobucket, and have always been really happy with it.

On my photo editing board is the host site of choice.

  • Ooohh...just looked into pixentral and they delete your photo if it hasn't been viewed in 30 days. So it may not be right for your needs.

  • I love Picasa! It's free from Google (just 'Google' it - tee hee). It's very easy to organize your photos into folders, e-mail them, print, it has some basic editing software included as well. I like it better than photobucket; have not tried Flickr.
