  • are you supposed to supply the food?
make sure the change of clothes is marked w/name & it has shoes and socks as well
any meds your child regularly takes? marked w/name and clear directions on how to give
mark the diapers and wipes w/baby's name (use a perm marker on the boxes) same w/the bottle and cup. otherwise sounds like you have everything, and it'll be fine. i'm assuming you've looked into other daycares and know that this one works for you guys, call a million times if you have to. don't make a scene when you drop baby off (if you are crying he'll think theres a reason to cry so it'll cause baby stress) just have a big smile, tell him to have fun and you'll see him after ___ (find out what they do right before you pick up so you can tell baby you'll pick him up right after snack time, or nap time or whatever that way he has something solid to look at and say ok mommy should be here soon!) cry in the car after dropoff

  • You don't have to bring it the first day, but it's nice to have a family picture, with you/dad/baby/grandma/ whomever, so the teachers can see you all and point to it during the day when they talk about you. ;)
