I'm trying to figure out which one I should get for my 1st grader. thanks!

  • I have first grade. I didn't buy a full curriculum, I bought bits and pieces of various stuff.

    Science: Apologia Zoology 1

    Math - various workbooks bought at Target, Walmart, and Teacher Supply Stores

    English - Spectrum and Stock Vaughn Writing, Various Workbooks bought at above places for Grammar

    Bible - A children's Bible he got for Easter

    Music - Guitar Lessons at home, Introduction to varios "styles" of music

    Art - Community art classes, at home projects found in books or online

    Geography - Scholastic Success With Maps, Grade 1, General Map Exploration

  • I use Moving Beyond the Page for Gifted and Creative Children. It is a secular, literature based curriculum, and so far my son and I love it.
