Durring your period, when should you become concerned about how heavy your flow is?

How much blood in so much time is too much? How can you tell if you are wearing tampons? What about pads?

  • if you are wearing a super tampon or soak a maxi pad in an hour than its too much (that is the generalization) i do that on occasion but not every single tampon goes through that quickly. if its every single one than its too much

  • The guideline for any vaginal bleeding is if you are soaking a pad or super tampon in an hour, it's too much. I used to have to wear a super tampon and a pad because I was soaking the tampon in an hour, hour and a half tops, and I couldn't always change it right away, so I needed the back up. But I had a uterine ablation in April and haven't had a period since (yay).
