married for almost 2 yrs and together for 5 and a half

how do u get that feeling in yr stomach/heart u know when it flutterys cuz ur SO HAPPY....rt now i aint feeling much at all happy with my hubby ...We have been thru the ringer YES .....and have overdome alot and all that ...but sometimes i just think that being by my self is more what i want then this marriage i am in ...i ahve saw Fireproof and i have read the 5 languages of love and i just dont know where that fits into the picture ...we are goin to marriage cancil and all also ..sometimes i feel he ios goin because i asked him to and that is the only reason he dosent see that things arent right....i just think that i could do better without all the BS he gives me ..when he works i love it when he is away...does that sound good gals? i hate seein the time when he comes back...are they any way i can get passed this and find that love i had for him at one time? i try to get him to go to church and all but he wont . please help

  • First of all, it's a 2-way street, meaning that you both have to be working equally on the marriage. It takes time to get back to that point. You can watch all the movies and read all the books you want but in the end it comes down to good hard work on a relationship to fix things. You need to decide for yourself if fixing it is what you want, then he needs to do the same thing. As for counciling, if he is only going to satisfy you, then he is not accepting his part in the blame. Until he admits that part of this is his fault, you are working on the marriage by yourself.
