what is the difference between a slow cooker and a crock pot?

I have been looking for crock pots so I can make stews and other meals for the winter time but I really have not find many the only thing I have been finding is slower cooker and I'm confused because I don't know if there are the same or differenet. So can anyone help me out.

  • Crock-Pot® (with hyphenation, capitalization, and trademark thingy, please) is the brand name of a line of slow cookers manufactured and sold under the Rival®
