Goopy sissors

After cutting tape, my sissors have tape spooge on them...how do I get it off? I've tried alcohol and it didn't work.

  • Drinking really won't clean the scissors, LOL. Try some oil--vegetable oil, baby oil, even petroleum jelly. Leave it on for a few minutes, then scrape off the "spooge." You do know that's not the normal use of "spooge," don't you?

  • rubbing alcohol is good for adhesive removal.
    Also what is the usual use a "spooge". I can imagine but have never actually heard the term before! :)
