  • We pay ours $10 per hours, but she's not a kid, she's in her early 20's and is a teacher at a daycare center, certified, etc.

I have no idea what the going rate is for say a teenager down the street.

  • I usually pay $20 to $30 per night depending on how long I'm gone for teens. I don't usually do a straight up hourly rate because dd is sleeping early and they are just hanging out at my house or sleeping. In the summer i pay a teen $25/day to watch dd while Im at work. We live in a small town where things tend to be cheaper and these are teens who cant drive yet.

  • My 14 year old is a Red Cross certified babysitter. She charges $7 an hour for the first two; $2 an hour for each additional.

    We live in Chicago
