  • I wouldn't care. As long as they were respectful, courteous, smart, etc... but most importantly, love my child and treated them RIGHT.

  • Depends on the faith I suppose. Once they are 18 it's out of your hands really. Personally I would not want my daughter dating anyone from Faiths where the man is in charge all the time and is a very dominate force in a relationship. I dont' believe in that, and I dont' think it's healthy for girls to be treated as possesions and a lot of faiths preach that, western and eastern religions alike

  • NO, but my mom isn't to happy.

I'm petite, Jewish and white and my man is Muslim from Haiti and very dark and large and Christian!

  • Yes, not no!

  • As long as the person treats my child the way they should be, I have no problem with it. If it is about race, other family members might have a problem with it but not me, my children know this. As for religion, as long as they are not crazy/scary and do not expect anything weird, I don't have an issue with religion either.

  • I have absolutely no problem with that, as long as there is a good heart, the rest doesn't matter.

  • If they are here on this earth, why would there be a problem.

If they were from Mars or something....well, I'd have to know more about them before saying anything.

  • This is something I think about frequently. While I don't want to be prejudiced, I would RATHER my kids date someone from the same culture and religious background, I wouldn't tell them they couldn't date someone from a different background. Only because with our religious ceremonies, if a person isn't part of our culture, they cannot participate so it would just make it easier to stay within our "people." But if they found someone who made them truly happy, then I wouldn't object.

  • I would as long as they were a good person, but my husband might not approve.

  • As long as they treat my daughter like the Angel she is, then yes. Assuming she was old enough to date.
