about wic

okay what exactly do you get when your on wic i'm currently 33 weeks preg. and my appt to get on wic is Oct 13th does it start then or do i have to wait till the baby comes?

  • You get food while pregnant and while breastfeeding. When the baby starts solids the baby starts getting food too.

  • it starts then. idk about all states but i'm from ny and i get milk, bread, eggs, juice, fruit, cheese, ceral, and pb

  • You can get WIC while pregnant and until your child is 6 yrs old. They didn't take me in to consideration after 6 months because I didn't breastfeed. You will get bread, pb, eggs. juice, milk and fresh fruits and veggies in some areas. They will not give you babyfood or cereal or juice for the baby until after 6 months of age, even if the doctor tells you to feed your child solids.

  • You get lots of milk,juice,eggs,cheese, cereal, peanut butter,tuna,and depends sometimes fruit I am in Indiana

  • your child stays on it for 5yrs of age at least in Indiana they do it really does help
