Smokers, does anyone else do this?

When I open a new pack of cigarettes the first thing I do is flip one cigarette over and that is last one I smoke. I've done it for and I don't know why I do it. Does anyone else do this?

  • When I was a kid ( 30 years ago) it was called the wish smoke. The last one you smoked in the pack and you made a wish every drag you took.
