  • As soon as his cord fell off at about 3 weeks. Hes 8 weeks now and is rolling over and holding his own head up already!

  • No not to younge. Just dont leave baby on the tummy for hours. Start now to get them used to it. Say 10 or 15 minutes at a time. Try interacting with baby while on the tummy

  • We were told by the doctor to start it as soon as the cord fell off. My daughter hated it and could only stand about 30 seconds to 1 minute at a time for awhile. Your baby may love it or hate it. Just do as much as your little one will handle.

  • My son hated being on his stomach, even once he could roll over. It wasn't until he decided he wanted to move (crawl) that he would be on his stomach without having a fit.

  • don't put a time on it....just do it while they are comfy with it...our pedi said never to push it. My daughter hated it . so if she started fussing or crying don't force them.

  • We started almost immediately (for very short times). Mat time became one of his favorite things to do very quickly.
