Ok so I was induced on Saturday...

I know pitocin makes you swell up like a tick but my feet are so swollen they look deformed. They actually feel like there going to pop. Is there anything I can do or take to help?

  • You need to walk around. Activity will help it go down. I had toxemia and was so swollen, that it took a long time to go down. Exercise will help. If it doesn't, you need to see a doctor. Just keep in mind, it has only been two days. Good luck :)

  • You should call your Dr about this to be on the safe side. It does not sound normal to still be swollen up that badly.

  • i had the same thing, it took about a week for my feet to get back to there normal size - my doctor told me to keep them elevated as much as possible.
