  • Yes, usually it is enough to treat a completely systemic yeast infection. Diflucan stays in the body for at least a week and continues to work. Also, you could add yogurt to your diet, as long as it has active yeast cultures in it, it help keep the bodys normal flora.

  • Yes for you, but you need to treat baby too since LO will just pass it right back to you if you don't. They gave me Nystatin at first and for baby and that didn't touch it so they gave me difulcan and the baby a higher dose of Nystatin and that still didn't work so 3 weeks later I got genetian violet and used it for both of us and that did the trick. Be careful though GV will dye everhtying it touches purple.
