9 month old

My 9 month old is throwing terrible fits...everytime he doesn't get his way he gets mad and screams until you give him what he wants. Is there anyways to stop this? I have tried distracting, giving him something different, tapping his mouth barely with my hand, and tap his leg barely to get his attention and nothing is really helping.

  • Don't give right in to his tantrum, let him cry for a minute when he starts to calm down then do for him. And tell him he can't act like that to get his way, try sitting him on your lap and talking to him to calm him down.

  • DON'T give him what he wants !! he's already testing you and if you give in now, it only gets harder and harder !!

  • You have to ignore him in a safe way like when he's throwing the tantrums keep an eye on him without him knowing you're watching so he thinks you're not phased by it. They test you to see what works and when they find something they stick with it so if you keep giving in he will keep doing it.
