terrible in math

I am terrible in math so I need help on trying to figure out my grade. Help please!!!!!If there are 45 questions, and I have to get 65 percent or higher right to pass, how many questions do I need to get right?

  • 45 X 65% = 29.25

    Since you can't get 0.25 of a question correct unless your teacher believes in partial credits, you would need to round up to the next whole problem (or 30 problems) to get a passing grade.

  • You need to get at least 30 questions correct. If you only get 29 correct you will have a 64% for your grade.

  • To get a 66-67 percent on the test, you would have to get 30 of the questions correct. In order to figure this out, all I did trial and error. I took 40 and divided 45 and got 89 percent. Then I took 35 and got 77 percent.
