Have you ever watered down whole milk to make it taste more like 2% or skim?

How much water did you add and how did it work out?

  • I did, but it was just to add to cereal. I did like half a cup of milk and half a cup of water. .. it worked fine just for putting on the cereal.. LOL

  • I have never done that. I dont drink much milk, and my husband loves whole.
So we just give it to Lily whole and he drinks it whole

  • Well, I'm not doing it for my kids I'm doing it for me. I will be getting milk from WIC and they only give us whole milk until they are 2 and then we'll get 2%. I dont drink milk very often but I hate the taste of whole milk so I was wondering if anyone ever tried it before. I know the milk is supposed to be for them but I will probably use some of it here and there.

  • well . . "whole" milk is only 4% milk fat and 2% is well half that so. . . You could try a 50/50 mix to see if that works. . .
