dream interp.

So my friend called me and said she was dreaming she was buried alive. She woke up hardly able breath. she was kicking her way out of the coffin but couldn't because of the cement vault. when she woke up she felt like she was suffocating and her blankets where in a jumbo mess. What does this mean? Is God talking telling her something

  • Does she ahve someone in her life like her mom or bf/husband whom she feels is holding her back from doing something, like going to school, or going out with friend? Sounds like somebody is making her feel trapped

  • It could be that because her blankets were literally too tight around her and her body signals from that got incorporated into her dream. We've all heard about the dream where someone had to go to the bathroom or there was a ringing and it turns out to be they had to go or their alarm is going off. If she's consistantly having negative dreams, I would guess that she has a deep issue that her subconsious is trying to work through.

  • I prayed about this, but and you can share it with her and she can pray and see if it is from the Lord. She is burried alive because she feels alone and trapped, she has no control over her circumstances. It could be a crisis of faith (does God see me?). But it could also be that she is in bondage to something and she feels trapped -- quite possibly a secret sin that she is ashamed of and she feels all alone. That is why she feels isolated and all alone with no one to help her.

As far as the coffin goes. The Bible says that we are dead in our sins and tresspasses-- and that could represent the coffin. Also sin brings death. Jesus Christ's death on the cross releases us from the bondage of sin and death, and we can be alive in Christ.

There is also the idea here of being too late. She has been burried. It is over. There is no hope. Maybe it is a warning to not wait until it is too late to deal with a problem.

  • It could be an out-of-body experience.

  • Maybe in another lifetime it's how she really died

  • Often a coffin, death means several things. In this case , she is struggling with something in her own life and wants freedom from it. I also believe it has to do with her spiritual walk with the Lord.

  • Suffocating-usually to do with a sense thatthe exernal environment, or one's inner attitudes or fears are threatening to kill one's pleasure in living; feeling imprisioned by another person's will or emotional pressure and demands; there may be a connection with sleep problems.

Coffin- nearly always a reminder of one's mortality. Thoughts and feelings about death are often in the background of our mind, and dreaming of a coffin suggests you may be exploring how you relate to death. it can also depict death and rebirth.

Buried alive-Memories of a difficult birth and it's fears.
