What are good art supplies and projects for a 17 month old besides crayons and coloring?

  • i thik finger paints play doh stickers are good just make sure you watch so they dont eat the paint or playdoh if you are worried about them eating it make your own play doh is jsut salt flour water and food color and here is a recipe for finger paint using kooilaid
    Kool-Aid Finger Paint

    What you need:
    • 2 cups flour
    • 2 packs unsweetened Kool-Aid
    • 1/2 cup salt
    3 cups boiling water
    • 3T. oil
    What to do:
    Mix wet into dry.

  • THere are also those in dot markers that people use for bingo. Kids love them, they just pound the paper.

    You can also cut up little pieces of paper, put a bunch of glue on another piece of paper, and let them pick up the little pieces and stick them to the glue.

  • finger paints (washable) oh, we made toad houses (I have a boy that loves toads) it was real easy you just need to get a clay pot and paints, let me know if you want directions. . .
