Help my 9 month old wont sleep in his bed through the whole night.

The only way he will go back to sleep is in our bed, and his father can't sleep with him crying.

  • some parents don't belive in this but if you let him cry it out once or maybe twice that should do the trick, he would have to deal with the crying for one night or so

  • At this age, they need to learn how to confort themselves back to sleep. Stay strong...I know how hard this is.

  • my son was 3 before he slept through the night....no problems since....some kids just need that extra comfort. I am not an advocate of letting them "cry it out"....I think it's mean and could never stand it.
btw...he is 6 now and extremely self sufficient and confident.
