Do Autistic Children suffer from Allergies?

The other day at glance I watched a segment of 3 minutes where they talk about Autism and Allergies.
I think that they say that Autistic Children Digestive System is damaged which leads to Allergies. The Doctor talking about this was Dr. OZ

I've been searching but can't find anything about the doctor and his comments.

  • Search "Leaky Gut Syndrome" and IgG Allergies and Autism.....There's just too much information to be able to explain it well here with such limited space, but the links you get from your search should help. I've included a few links below to get you started with:

  • Just because they are Autistic does not mean their bodys dont act like "normal" peoples do. They are able to get allergies like everyone else. But the digestive system being damaged because they are autistic? Thats a new one on me.
