When you make something for a bakesale do you pre-cut it?

I am supposed to make rice krispie treats for my sons parent teacher night tomorrow. Should I "pre-package" them, or leave them in the pan?

  • No, you just prepare and display. :)

  • If this is a bake sale, then I would cut and wrap them individually in plastic wrap. If it's just for refreshments then I would cut them and display them nicely on a plate.

  • Yes, cut and wrap

  • Yeah - you said two different things: Bake sale and parent teacher night. The ladies are right - if they are for sale, then wrap. If for refreshments then sliced on a tray. However, since rice crispy treats are so sticky I usually lay them on individually cut pieces of waxed paper (even on a tray for refreshments).

  • Cut up and put in sandwich bags or wrap in plastic wrap. Do NOT just make and leave in the pan.
