Question about a plugged duct and nursing......

When you have had a plugged duct, do you skip solids temporarily so that you can nurse more? Do you just skip some solids meals or do you leave them out all together? My DS is one and still nurses anywhere between 6 and 10 times a day, depending and he eats three solids meals a day with small snacks.

  • I nursed first then gave solids. Also use heat prior to nursing to help ease it a little.

  • Try to nurse, if you can't then give solids, and for your duct, take a hot shower and put a warm wash cloth on your breast. I hope i answered right I didn't quite understand your question.
