  • Okay, you'll think this is a weird one, but Broccoli Stuffing Bake, It tastes like kid food, very autumny. I either make it as a side dish with baked chicken, or add cooked chicken to it to make it a main dish, always serve with cranberry sauce and usually corn too. When I make it for a potluck every drop disappears, and my boys ask for it!!

    Broccoli Stuffing Bake

1 pkg chicken stove top (any flavor works, and I use whatever brand is on sale)
10 oz. pkg frozen chopped broccoli (I prefer the florets)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2 eggs slightly beaten
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 cup shredded colby cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, combine all ingredients except cheese. Spread into a 9x13 pan and top with cheese. Bake 35-40 minutes.

I usually double it, but my guys are teens.

And, I hope some more moms will share some recipes, it's nice to try somet

  • Any soup. My favorite is veggie soup, but I don't have the recipe. My mom cans about a hundred mason jars full every summer and gives me some. All I have to do is heat it up. SOOO yummy!

  • I love mashed potatoes!! I just boil add milk and real butter. Beat with a mixer.

However i was at my sisters house and she made mashed potatoes with sour cream and onion chip dip....at first I thought this would be gross but it was yummy! and what she does is mashes her potatoes and whips in the milk slowly then adds butter, slowly whipping then the dip. Mine is lumpy and creamy... hers is smooth and creamy.
