has anyone ever heard of?

My dd doctor called and they did lab tests friday she is 9 months old. Well the nurse said everything is fine but one test said it looks like she stores to much iron in her blood. So they will do another test in 2 months. Has anyone ever heard of that?

  • Yes. If you have baby on formula with iron added you may want to ask your Dr if you need to change to the no iron formula.

  • I used to work with a guy that had that. He had to watch how much iron he ate and he took something to kind of leech the iron out. He also occasionally had to go in and get it taken out in some sort of procedure where they drew the blood, then took the iron out, then put the blood back in. He didn't have to do that very often because he found the herbal supplement that did it but he said it took a lot of research to find one that worked and a couple crackpot herbal remedys he had tried first.
