how can i get my 4wk old kitten to go potty

i take a warm cloth and massage the genital areas but it dont seem to be working but i heard if they dont they could die any ideas on ow to help my kitty out

  • At 4 weeks old some start going on their own. Give them a very shallow pan with clay litter (not clumping litter). It might start going in there if not make sure you are gently rubbing with a warm wet cloth (to simulate the mother licking them). If you have no luck in a day or two take them to the vet-it could be blocked and could die.

  • By 4 weeks, kitty should be going on his own. If he isn't, take him to the vet.
