  • My eyes were blue till I was around 13 then they started changing to grey and blue green, hazel, now they are green, I went from Blue to Green and I'm in my 20's. Doctors say eyes normally change (if your eye color changes) when your still real young.

  • My 21 year old son's eyes change color depending on what he is wearing. They can be blue, green, hazel, or a combination.

  • My daughter's eyes do that. I think it has more to do with what colors they are reflecting. When she wears any blue, her eyes are a radiant blue. If her hair is in her face, they look brown, they also have been green and hazel and gray.
My son and I both have hazel eyes to do seem to change colors. Mine go from brown to yellow. His from brown to blue.

  • It is caused by the amount of melanin changing from hormone levels changing throughout childhood, puberty and settling into adult. Melanin is the pignment that gives your skin, hair and eyes their coloring. My twin brother's eyes were bright blue until we were about 5 then they seemed to go from blue to green depending on what he was wearing. Then around 12 his eyes went to a grassy green with dark flecks and have stayed that way. His hair color also changed around the same times, at first a bright blond toehead, then golden deepening to light brown.
My youngest son is following along the same lines, his eyes were a murky blue until he was about 5 then they began to lighten to a greenish brown (hazel I guess) and now at 12 and a half they are a green with darker green lines that form a star-like pattern. His hair color has also gone from a close-to-white blond to brassy blond with some almost black hairs scattered throughout
