So they say sex triggers labor, but did it work for any of you?

  • My mom said it did. Her Dr. told her she would go past her due date, and she ended up getting frisky and went in to labor that night. I think it certainly helped me go in to labor because we did it almost every day when I was pregnant, and I went 2 weeks early.

  • Not I, i was induced. But my friend who was pregnant at the same time managed to make it work. Literally, her DH came home from work, she jumped him, he went to get a drink and check on the other two kids, came back and she had him start timeing.

  • Nope. Me and husband tried alot(fun) but it never happened. I ended up having a c-section cause i wouldnt dialate at all!

  • I've been trying, but no such luck. My co-worker claimed it worked for them both times.

  • Yes! Worked for me. I was 4 days overdue though. It broke my water and got things started.

  • nope, My husband was home for 10 days from iraq to be here for the delivery and we tried everything to induce, including sec,spicy food, nipple stimulation, etc....NOTHING worked. I was induced several days before he had to go back. Basically I think its best to just let your body do its own thing or wait till a dr aproves of induction.
