  • Sometimes when I have forgotten to defrost something for dinner or didn't have time to toss something in the crock pot we have breakfast for dinner. I fry up some eggs, make hashbrowns (I always keep frozen ones on hand) and toast and sometimes have some sliced ham to go with it.

Tater tot casserole is also very easy...and can get a fantastic recipe from the Duggar family website.

I utilize my crock pot when it starts to get into fall and winter weather. I probably use it about 4 times a week. Pot roast, soups, chili, chicken breasts or porkchops....

Hope some of these ideas are helpful...

  • Hows about cooking something good for me?! LOL Sorry had to finish the song, I don't even know if those are the lyrics! I wish I could help but I'm in a rut also! Have you read the Bisquick recipe book? There are some tasty meals in there that don't use alot of ingredients.
