Crooked teeth...

This might be dumb question, but my 6 yr old's front tooth seems to be crooked. He has him permanent teeth in the front - does this mean he'll definitely need braces or do teeth sometimes work themselves out as they grow?

  • I was told by our dentist that the tongue helps to push the teeth into the right place, but it depends on how much space they have. My daughter doesn't have enough space for her teeth, so we're setting up an appt at the ortho already (7). My younger daughter's teeth are fine now, but were crooked when they first came in, so it must help for some.
