Ever since my son was born he's never slept though the night (now he's 5.5 months) and he goes to bed from 8pm to 1030pm falls back asleep by himself then wakes up at like 11:15pm wanting to eat...then again at 1am then again at 2:45 3 something 5 something on and on and on...but other than the 11:15pm one he's not hungry he just wakes...my husband said therer's something wrong with him does anyone have experience with this?

  • I wouldn't worry too much. A baby that small will still wake during the night. Does he wake up crying? Maybe it's colic? Or maybe he's uncomfortable for some other reason?

  • he's quiet if you hold him, so I don't think its colic

  • Cut out the third nap and put him to bed at 7 instead of 8. A baby who is kept up to late past the time they want to sleep will wake up just as often as a baby who's had too much sleep. It's whatever works best for the babies natural sleep rythm but they can't exactly tell you they want to go to bed earlier.
