  • "less educated mothers were having children in winter"

This hold true for DSS. His BM doesn't even have a high school diploma and both her children are born in late December. And she herself was born in early December to a mother who also has a poor education. And DH was born in early January, and at the time, his mother only had her HS diploma.

However, i dont believe that this would necessarily ALWAYS be true. My mom had 4 kids, none of us born in the winter, 3/4 of us were born with her being unwed. The 4th one during her divorce and she had nothing but a HS diploma.

  • That is an old wives tale.

  • I agree with kd2kds, Last month there was a "scientific study" that "proved" conceiving in the beginning of winter/fall produced more genetic defects and lower IQ scores in children.
