What kind of birth control can you take while breastfeeding?

I never even thought of this, I DO NOT want to get pregnant again!! Are there safe medications to take while BF or is it just condoms?

  • I had mirena IUD.

LOOK INTO IT FIRST and decide whether you are ok with the side effects. Dont go on their website and look at their side effects. Look at REAL WOMEN'S expiriences with it.

  • I took the minipill and don't have any problems with it, but it's not as safe as the regular pill - there's a higher failure rate. I got pregnant on it while I was bfeeding my 2nd son.
