In what order do the Place values go?

I have been out of school so long it's like I need some brushing up my mind is just blank and I need to help my child with math.

Thank you for helping out :)

I only remember this far (ones, tens, hundreds, thousands and this is where I go blank).

  • Ones, Tens, Hundreds, Thousands, Ten Thousands, Hundred Thousands, Millions, Ten Millions, Hundred Millions

I doubt you need to go any higher than that.

  • Starting with the decimal and moving left: ONES, TENS, HUNDREDS THOUSANDS

Starting with the decimal and moving right: TENTHS, HUNDREDTHS, THOUSANDTHS

I'm home schooling my 3rd grader, I'm having to relearn lots of things! lol

  • Beyond that, it's ten thousands, hundred thousands, millions, hundred millions, & so on.

On the right side... it's ten thousandths, hundred thousandths, etc, etc
