  • No, I EBF my DS for 10 months and then I SLOWLY added solids that I made.
    IMO I think 6 months is too early so 2-3 months is WAY too soon.

  • started rice at 3 months and my DD is fine, she may have been slightly younger than that!

  • When I had my first 22 years ago this was the norm. You started fruits and cereals by 3 months. I read an old Dr. Spock book from the 1950's and it said, cereal at 2 weeks and by the time they are 4 months old they should be eating meats!
    Anyway my youngest is 4 yrs old and I waited until 4 months for cereal and 6 months for fruit. People say their baby is starving or drinking to much but you know what my son was 9 lbs at birth and he never acted like a starving baby. My step daughter though she fed her babies early and they were grossly fat. I mean a 22 pound 3 month old! her son was a ball and cried all the time! she thought the crying meant he was hungry! And she thinks I'm the dork!
