breast feeding my 2 week old and with a cold...

is it okay if i eat some ricola cough drops??

  • absolutely!!!

    you want to stay away from any over the counter cold medicines that contain Decongestants, or Antihistamines. they will dry up your mild supply!!

    even better than ricola is Fishermans Fried... they don't taste great, but the work very well.

    if you have chest congestion, heat up a cup of ruby red grapefruit juice and drink it like hot tea, it will break up the mucous.

    a vix inhaler (it goes in your nostril) will help ease sinus congestion.

  • Not too many. There are some herbs in there that can dry up your milk and aren't good for baby. I looked it up a while ago cause I was sick. I drank lots of chamomile tea with honey and lime. I did use a few ricola, but I tried to keep it at 2-3 a day.
