New methods of reaching out to the people?

Nearly twice as many Republicans as Democrats have accounts on the social networking platform Twitter (101 compared with 57), and the GOP dominates Twitter usage by an even wider margin, according to a report released this week by the Congressional Research Service that analyzed two weeklong periods in July and August. • Facebook has a huge conservative voice, too.

I think it's not so much an issue of one group outnumbering the other, than it is an issue of the Republicans having MUCH more to say right now.

  • No, I do not follow any politicans currently on twitter. It seems to be something effective in regards to celebs and young voters. However, do we want to soley rely on celebs and young voters. Seems the last time celebrities and young people got behind a politican it got us to the point we are at present.

  • Ok but not the best way. Twitter especially. You just can't get all the info out you need to with a tweet.
