At what age did your childs "terrible Twos" start?

  • My son got naughty before he was two, but nothing compares to the 3s! I once heard that if your child has a good vocabulary and can express himself well, the 2s aren't too bad but the 3rs are, and I agree! Terrible 2s happen when a kid isn't able to express his emotions, but if he's able to well, there won't be as many issues. But when they are 3 and more manipulative and even smarter, they know how to push your buttons!

  • 2's were a breeze, it's the 3's that were evil. My son was pretty good but my daughter started around birth

  • at about 16 months. now she is 21 months and it is 23975 times worse. and we still havent even come close to the 3's!!

  • good question. my son started acting more difficult around 20-21 months, but not terrible, so i don't know if that means they just haven't started yet or that his terrible 2s aren't going to be too terrible after all ;)
