I started my first pack of birth control last month and after the beginning of the 3 week Hubby and I had sex and he went inside of me. Should I be fine or no?

  • Generally you need to wait a month before having unprotected sex to ensure the pill will work. You also need to take it at the same time everyday for it to be at it's most effective.

  • The doctor will tell you 7 days. Some people use a back-up like a condom for the first month. BC pills fail more than other methods bc people dont take them right. Make sure you are taking them at the same time every day.
